The boulder
It starts with the rock.
Every boulder is built to order. For Tallgrass, that meant big, natural-looking entrance stones with plenty of room for the neighborhood name, a prairie grass and flying birds design, and a smaller matching boulder for the Conservation Area.
Before anything was built, the design went back and forth as proofs until the HOA was happy with it.

The engraving
Details you can see from the road.
Deep, crisp lettering and artwork that reads clearly from a car going by, and still holds up when you walk right up to it.

What's underneath matters.
A boulder this size needs a solid base. Each entrance monument sits on a concrete footing that was prepped and checked before the stone went down, so it stays level and solid for years.

The set
Lifted, lowered, landed.
We trucked the boulders in, a telehandler lifted each one onto its footing, and then came the best part: pulling the wrap off. The landscaping went in around it, and the neighborhood had its new front door.
