About us
Down-to-earth people. Rock-solid work.
Who we are
A small family company that loves big rocks.
We're Boulder Designs by Stoneworks Sign & Monument, a small, family-owned company based in Holmen, Wisconsin. We build and design custom boulders for businesses and individuals.
We're not a big corporate sign shop, and we like it that way. We're proud to make every boulder here in America, one customer at a time.
Proud independently owned franchise of Boulder Designs®. Stoneworks Sign & Monument is owned and run right here in Holmen.
Handcrafted
Made by hand, one at a time.
We shape, color and finish every boulder by hand, so no two are ever the same.
We're not fancy about it. We just like knowing that something we made is going to sit at the end of somebody's driveway, or at the front of their business, for generations.
Our promise
When you hire us, we take care of it. Actually take care of it.
- 1
We answer the phone
Call, text or email. You'll hear back from us, and you won't be left wondering where things stand.
- 2
Same family, start to finish
The folks who draw your first proof are the same ones who show up to set your boulder.
- 3
We show up, and we finish
We show up when we say we will, and we see the job through until your boulder is set.
Where we work
Rooted in Holmen. Happy to drive.
We serve La Crosse, Trempealeau, Eau Claire and Chippewa Counties, and we deliver every boulder. We've hauled them clear across Wisconsin and over into Minnesota, and we'll gladly go farther for the right project.
